So all of us have to design something for this final year and exhibit it. However the design have to be about the area that we have choose from the beginning of the first semester (mine is Petaling Street). From that area we have to think about how we feel about the area, kind of personal feelings toward the area.
I chose warm and nice people, because my area is a traditional market, the people there are nice and very welcoming. Some of them would love to smile in front of my camera as well. From that point i came out with a lantern idea. This is one of the mock up that i tried. I used tracing paper as the material, so the light can go through. I used acrylic paint and somehow, tracing paper can't bare water which can cause it wrinkly.
